Pillow Talk 3D

Pillow Talk has been my way of expressing what comfort, safety, and home mean to me. I have moved around a lot and, as an adult, never felt truly at home anywhere. These works use pre-loved garments and fabrics diverted from the landfill, as well as found objects, to explore the intimacy and security of a safe haven. There is humour in the work as well as a regard for the vocabulary of form and space combined with the needle-based techniques that link me to my heritage.
